White v Orange - Part III
Down two in the season series, Orangeville Atom Team White dug deep this afternoon with near textbook execution. With Orange netminder Drew Roper absolutely standing on his head right out of the gate, it was clear this game was going to need, and be, something special.
White's signature backchecking, team defense, and breakouts were once again the unsung story but today's game was also marked by precision passing - none more evident than the Rideout from Sillars goal that re-ignited White to start the third period. That proved to be the special edge White needed to push through and come out on top this time. White earned every opportunity with strong play on the puck and a never-quit attitude.
Team White looks to finish the year off strong heading into the break and plays at 9am next Sunday the 14th, at Alder Red.
